Ayurveda is a science that empowers you to take control over your well-being. It is not just a passing fad or another diet – it has been around for 5000 years, and Ayurvedic practitioners have developed a broad selection of tools to help bring people into optimal and balanced state of being.
At Eka, we work with each individual as a whole, assessing physical and mental state and suggesting simple and practical changes in lifestyle, daily habits, food and exercise. Taken every day, these small steps will help you restore balance, reduce stress, and over time change your overall state of well-being. The goal is not to add more to your already full plate: this practice is about simplifying, streamlining and subtracting.
Your Ayurvedic consultation can consist of any combination of:
Lifestyle consultation. Addresses the everyday issues – stress, anxiety, sleep problems, low energy and resilience – through working with seasonal changes, daily habits and individualized rituals.
Nutritional consultation. Addresses current imbalances and minor digestive issues through a diet that is tailored to your unique constitution.
Educational consultation. If you are just curious about Ayurveda and want to know your unique type and what it means in practical terms.
Individualized yoga sequence for self practice. Appropriate for your constitution, developed to address current imbalances, refined during a private session, so that you feel confident working with the sequence on your own. (Includes your unique type and imbalances assessment, does not include written food and wellness guidelines)
Ayurvedic consultation includes:
• Your Ayurvedic type assessment - you will learn about your unique constitution, we will asses current imbalances, I will do a pulse reading
• We will discuss what being Vata/Pitta/Kapha means in practical terms for your life and how it affects your current concerns.
• Your current lifestyle assessment - what are your current habits and daily rituals. How are they aligned with your type and with Ayurvedic clock and Ayurvedic view of the seasons.
Based on your current concerns and your Ayurvedic type, I will develop personalized lifestyle and food recommendations, as well as personalized daily rituals. These will be delivered within 3 business days after your consultation. Your personalized assessment and well being plan will include:
• recap of the main qualities of your unique mind-body type
• daily and seasonal practices
• lifestyle guidelines
• detailed dietary guidelines
• exercise guidelines
• aromatherapy suggestions
Follow-up consultations are available. It's recommend to schedule your first follow-up session within 7-10 days after you’ve received your recommendations: this way you’ll have a chance to try them, see what worked and what did not. Your first follow up session will include a discussion on to further tweak the suggestions that did not work. Additional follow-up sessions will address new food and daily practices as the seasons change, and/or developing the individualized yoga sequence.

Seasonal Ayurvedic Consultation
Autumn can be a stressful time: as life picks up the speed, everything shifts, and changes. Typical imbalances we can experience during the Vata season include irregular digestion, disrupted sleep, anxiety and a general sense of lack of focus. The mind can become hectic, not able to concentrate, jumping from one thing to the other and back. Our immunity and resilience reserves become depleted.
Valentina Komarova has designed a special focused consultation to support you with Ayurvedic tools as we transition into the Vata season. Together we will discover your specific imbalances and find best tools to support you. You will walk away with 2-3 tangible steps and practical suggestions on how to implement them daily to suit your lifestyle, as well as a better understanding of your natural tendencies and the Vata season.
This individualized consultation includes: food list for Vata season, seasonal guide, and a habit tracker to keep you accountable. Please note that this consultation does not include an individual write-up or e-mail follow-up.

Thai Yoga combines physical benefits - improved circulation, relieved muscle tension, increased range of motion and flexibility - with deep relaxation and restored sense of well-being. It will also perfectly compliment your strength training and can help deepen your yoga practice.
The session is performed on a large mat on the floor using essential oils, sound therapy and meditation.
