Tips For Staying Healthy While Traveling

Drink plenty of water in flight. A long period of time confined in a reduced oxygen environment with low humidity can cause serious dehydration.

Avoid alcohol and coffee in flight. There is a lower level of oxygen in your blood when flying, which when drinking alcohol can make you feel and seem more intoxicated. The fact that alcohol and coffee are diuretics and the air in an aircraft is very dry; you may become dehydrated much faster than you would on the ground.

Pack Triphala.  Triphala is an Ayurvedic supplement that literally helps with everything! When traveling, you don’t always know when or where you will be sleeping, so if you find yourself in a not ideal situation, having these props can help ensure a good night’s sleep. Sleep is crucial to keep our immune systems strong, help the brain commit new information to memory, regulate our metabolism, and keep us from being the crabby person in the corner.
